Just out of curiosity, does it ever snow in Ireland or Northern Ireland? Or is it too warm (although still cold) to snow due to the Gulf Stream?
Yes it does snow but it seems to be a rarity. When I was over there 4 years ago it snowed (about an inch) and everyone was going crazy because they had no snow removal equipment. It melted quickly though and everything was cleared up in a day.
Kind of like Seattle, huh?

Landed in Dublin last week from New Hampshire. This isn’t winter and it doesn’t snow.
At least not what we’d call “winter” and “snow.”
Have you been out side lately maybe its not winter in Dublin but its very much winter in Tyrone!! and it does snow usually once a year sometimes not that much but i have seen in my sort life between 4 and 6" of snow. granted thats nothing compared with American standards but we dont have any summers either! No snow and no sun… a well at least we have music!!
