I was watching Saturday Night Live and they did a Willy Wonka sketch. At one point Willy tootles a little phrase on a whistle (the actor just waved his fingers and a piccolo or something was overdubbed). He holds the whistle in his hand throughout the sketch. It had a black head and a brass body but I couldn’t really make out much more. Did anybody else see this? Any guesses as to what kind of whistle? Ot is it just a prop like the Ressikan flute?
