Come join the Salt Lake Piping Club this June 10th, 11th & 12th for our sommer tionól. We’re pleased this year to invite our own Alan Burton over across the water (for the first time as we understand it!) to host some wicked good reed making and piping demonstrations! Good man yerself Alan!

It’d be great to see some of our fellow pipers from the area out. I know the Denver and Phoenix crews aren’t THAt far away. Perhaps we might even interest a few from the west coast? It’ll be great seeing all who can make it. Sorry for the preverbial last minute post - we’ve had some details take longer than expected to iron out.
Just as an update, for anyone planning on attending the tionól, we’ve been invited to play our closing concert at a local cathedral which (having played there before myself) has great acoustics and offers plenty of space without being overly stuffy. St. Marks is located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake, and offers plenty of parking to any interested in coming out.

We’d love to see some of our out of state comrades…drop us a line if you need any info on travel or accomodations. There’s several of us with room for a guest or two if needs be for the weekend.
Just a quick reminder if any are planning on attending and haven’t gotten your registrations in - after June 4th the cost goes up an additional $10.00, so let us know soon if we can count you in! Accomodations are filling up, so if you need a place for a night or two, the sooner we know, the sooner we can get you situated with one of our locals.
