Slowdowner software ?????

My two year old version of Windows Media player allows me to slow down any music that is playing without loss of Pitch. Am i the only one using this.???

I updated my two year old Media Player last year (I now wish I hadn’t), a lot of neat stuff to the new version… but a pain in the neck to use… and for some reason it doesn’t seem to want to do the slowerdownerer thingamajig.

Or play those vids from:
http://www.thegreatnorthernirishpipersclub.org/tionol/tionol2005.html

But Mukade seems to think I need Real Player (but that comes at a cost).
How do you play them back Joseph? :sniffle:

REALPLAYER!!!

It’s free too.

For slowerdownerschtuffs i use a very old version of musicians cd player, change pitch and tempo independantly.
It’s from these guys, http://www.ronimusic.com/, who now seem to call their new version “the amazing slowdowner”.

Those vids are set as ‘Realplayer presentations’ you will need Realplayer free version to see them.

Maw, go back to the site and download the free ‘real player’ whatjamacallit… you can see thingy on the right (your right) hand side of the page. Click the icon thingy and the rest ought to be a piece of cake.

My work, here, is through…

Ok I’ve got it now ta… Cool stuff

Works fine tooo
thanks Rick

I would also like to endorse Amazing Slow Downer. It’s a brilliant peice of software. As a professional, i use it all the time and Rolf (it’s designer) is always updating it.

The videos on the site are in Real format as it was pretty much the only way to get the videos small enough while keeping the quality fairly high. I hate using proprietary software, but at least it’s free.
