slow airs tunes needed

hello
i try to play some slow airs now ,and i need some tunes of this kind ,can someone give me links to good slow air pages?
would be great ,btw ,does anybody have the slow air tune `the old house´´?? its a tune that barney mckenna often plays on the banjo in the dubliners concerts .
greetings ,Julian

Don’t know of any Slow Air pages - ABC used not to handle slow airs very well. I have three airs on ABC, two taken from Francis McPeake’s book on the Penny Whistle, and one taken from here, I think.
They are: The Dear Irish Boy, The little Red Lark, and Eire.
If you want them, email me. Or I could post them here, if that’s acceptable.

whistleworkshop.com has a few good airs, and Trip to Skye is one of my favorite waltzes…

The Coolin (even though it’s originally a fiddle tune, it can be played quite well on a whistle or flute; the C&F clips have examples and I’ve played it myself), maybe Take My Hand (good luck finding it though).

Barney plays ‘The Old House’ on the Dubs live DVD, and he still plays it live. I wondered about this tune myself. Are there words associated with it? Lovely tune.

Works nicely on mandolin too.

Get the book and CDs “Traditional Slow Airs of Ireland” by Tomas O Canainn.
