This new Silkstone Ace looks promising (polymer and silver matches my flute) but I can’t locate any sound samples of the thing! The alloy sounds pretty good. The other thing is, for the price I could have a Copeland or several Burkes.
Does anyone out there know of a qualitative review, a sound bite, or anything about this whistle?

Did you try sending Paul Hayward an email? I’m very curious about the whistle too…
Yes I did - to ask him to make me something else! His site states how labour intensive the Aces are and that he is trying to produce a hardwood whistle alternative.
Don’t know about the sound - his sound links don’t seem to be working.
