By all means go. Don Kavanagh is a great old Irish harmonica player – I know that sounds a little bit odd, but he can really make those little things sing, and he got his tunes the old way in the old country. Plus he’s great at (lip) whistling airs. He’s worth $20 Canadian and an hour’s drive to see by himself.
Nathan Curry is a great string player, Ian Clark’s a great guitar player, Bobby Watt’s a fine Scottish singer. James Stephens and Frank Cassidy are familiar names, too, but darned if I can remember why.
And it would appear to be for a good cause, how can you go wrong?
