Should I bring my pipes to Denver March 11-13?

I’m heading for Denver that weekend for a fencing tournament, is anyone interested in playing a few tunes?

I’ll have that Saturday the 12th free if anyone is interested in getting together.

Regards,
Gary

Bring your pipes anyway Gary. In case you don’t find a place to jam with folks, you can always spend that time cheering up the hotel room by practicing.

Yeah, like in Gainesville, when Matt and I were warming up the pipes after the trip and Chad joined in on fiddle, we had a blast until some other hotel guests complained…they said the fiddle was too loud!

Yeah, I’m staying with my brother…so his family will be the only ones to complain..but they’re family so who cares about their opinions!

That’s the spirit!!

Gary,
Check your PM.

Gary

Yes, check your PMs

No E(pée, just sabre)

Yeah… bring them! It’ll be fun to watch the reeds curl up and twist right before your very eyes

PD.

Just what I was thinking…

See you L.A. dogz on Friday…

Split rail? Barbed? Snake rail? What’s your fastest time for a quarter acre section? :boggle:

Wimps!

Hey - they’re SUPPOSED to be DRY Reed pipes!

Ahhh, but I have a secret weapon (and not just my Foil)…I have a chanter reed which was soaked in Neatsfoot oil for 4 days when in slip form…

So now it is impervious to changes in humidity!..it can leap tall regulators in a single bound..vibrate faster than a speeding locomotive.

One of the other fencers from our club is taking his mandolin..so even if you local yocals won’t join in…us Atlanta boys will just have to make our own music. :poke:
