Ah Ningbo - that’s a funky town. Or it was, when I lived there in '88-89. Great food, nice people. I loved it!

yes, many people are poor, but look at the quality of produce on sale in the shops: it’s way fresher than supermarket veg.

I absolutely agree. The produce is so beautiful, as are the people. It’s been fun getting up really early and buying breakfast from a cart. People have these frying pans on a trolley cart and make fresh pancake type bread, or with an egg fried with it. Lots of other stuff of course - too much to go on about. Thanks for all the compliments, as always you are all very generous.

Nicely done. My favorite is the lady with the…are those styrofoam coolers?..on her trike. Pulling off such an amazing feat, and she looks so bored with the whole thing.
And of course “bubbles.” Hard to beat a critter named “bubbles.” You reading this, Jerry?
