hi,
just wanted to let you all know that my band The Duhks has a new self-titled CD out on Sugarhill Records. It was produced in Nashville by Bela Fleck and Gary Paczosa, and although it is NOT traditional Irish music, there are
uilleann pipes on two of the tracks, and some irish tunes mixed in with old-time, french canadian, and original tunes.
You can take a look at our website http://www.duhks.com, or have a listen at http://www.sugarhillrecords.com
You can pick the album up almost anywhere now, including http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0007989PC/ref=pd_pym_ka/102-2167617-9703316
Here’s a link to Lorenzo’s review of our first album…

I think I just heard one of your tracks today on XM radio. A version of Love is the Seventh Wave with an ITM inspired hook in the background. Pretty interesting stuff - it definitely caught my attention.
I wish you great sucess!

Geez, you’re right - it IS shameless! ![]()
But who cares - it sounds as though you’ve earned it! Great stuff! I really like the ‘Magnolia Set’ !
I think it’s a nice blend of the various genres.
And you’re tour schedule! Wow! You guys are all over the place!
Best of luck on the tour! And well done!
Dregs of Birch is GREAT!!! Love it! Woo hoo!
I strongly condemn the abuse of this free forum for the promotion of commercial interests and I encourage those who share my views to demonstrate their outrage by buying a copy of my group’s CD, Leap of Faith, by Bonhomme Setter.

Nice sound. Kind of like a pinch of Nickel Creek, a pinch of Thompsen County horseflies, and some world beat thrown in as well. I like it. Nice and fresh sounding to my ears.
You wouldn’t believe how hard it is to mic horseflies.
Great stuff! It is also very cool to have Mr. Bela Fleck as a producer.
i strongly agree with this statement and i also encourage you demonstrate your outrage by buying a copy of my bands CD!! ![]()
BTW…you can get it at www.hooleymusic.com ![]()
I am totally outraged!!!.. but I don’t have a CD. ![]()
