I believe that i have gotten to the point where i want atleast go to a few sessions and listen in, if not play. ive heard you guys talking about frisco area sessions, but that a little far for me, i could probably get to one int he sacramento area and if there one closer (such as in Rosevill or Rocklin) that would kick.
When I was visiting my parents in Sac, the nearest session I could find was in Chico with a nice group of folks who call themselves the Pub Scouts. I’ve lost the phone number of their ringleader, but if you go a Google search on Pub Scouts I think their web page comes up fairly easily. I think they have sessions on Tuesdays and on Fridays.
I hope you can find something closer, though.

Hello all!
I am happy to tell you that we are going to once again have a session
in Sacramento, CA, starting on Tuesday April 27th! It will take place
at the Fox & Goose Public House, located at 1001 R Street (at the
corner of 10th and R), right in downtown Sacramento.
We are hoping to get a regular Sacramento-based session going again,
and would love to see as many people as possible. The session will be
“hosted” by Linda Relph, a former CA State Fiddling Champion, and
former fiddler with the Celtic Rock band “The Killdares” out of Dallas,
Texas.
Again, here is the pertinent information:
