Hey! If I didn’t already have plans I can’t break (MY mother-in-law is coming Wednesday and we’re spending Sat. cleaning), I’d drive down to Roanoke to meet you and we could have a mini-session if we couldn’t find one down there. I only live about 4 hrs. from Roanoke (I’m in Woodbridge). That would be COOL! Maybe we could get up in your neck of the wood sometime.
I would even allow myself to be subjected to being shown all the whistles you’ve won!
Little John
P.S.–I don’t know of any sessions in Roanoke, but it’s cool that you’re coming so close! Enjoy!! It’s a nice area!
Hey Little John that would be cool! Gosh, I think it would be closer for you to come to PA to meet with me than it would be for you to go to Roanoke! I live about 30 miles south of Altoona, PA. You wouldn’t even have a long distance to travel to go to Marguerite’s Lady of the Creek whistle workshops! You will have to check it out.
We are going to visit the Museum of Transportation and the Farmers Market while we are there. Not sure what else the kids have planned for us. Sunday is my hubby’s and my 29th Wedding Anniversary! We are really looking forward to this trip.
Maybe the next time we come down, we could arrange something since this time didn’t work out. You are more than welcome to come to PA anytime too. You could try out my new Serpent head I just got from Bill. It’s great! The little Alba Q1 is spectacular too! Maybe you could get a decent sound out of my (Beth’s) tabor pipe! I sure can’t play it yet!
Yes I will. I had no idea it was that close. My wife and I could turn it into a much-needed weekend getaway!
Bravo, Kathy! Congratulations on 29 good years. (My wife and I just celebrated our 7th marvelous year together.) May you be graced with even better years to come.
