Try the PM that Talasiga suggests, but I don’t think there are any sessions in Brisbane. I have heard of an Irish pub at Redcliffe just north of Brisbane that may have something like a session, but it is a very rare event and not really a session as such.
If ausdag tells you of any, make sure you post the info so I can check it out too.

I forgot to mention you though Redcliffe is kind of part of Brissy.
Somehow I associate your name with Melbourne and Hobart,
Sale and Lorne, Burnie and Apollo Bay
and other down under places in Australia!
No Worries Talasiga, it would be nice to hear of sessions around Brisbane and who knows, there might be one or two on the “Southside”, but none that I know of either South or,more importantly for me, North. You have any in your area? ‘Eastern Australia’ covers a lot of land mass.
