Well its a burning right now, about a thousand acres and mostly where there have been ongoing attempts to restore Atlantic White Cedar habitat. But the biiiig fire is in the Pocosin Lakes NWR directly south, The Great Dismal Swamp is really the northern extent of this habitat.
… And we finally got below 90 yesterday. Looks like the Great Leveling Out has started.
