selling my old half set-need some advice

The good news is I’ve ordered a new set from Joe Kennedy(which I am very excited about)But to finance them, I’ve got to sell my half Britton/half Rowsome half set. I’m a Luddite when it comes to all of the techno stuff and have never used ebay…

Any helpful advice?

Why bother with eBay when you can post a message here and get your asking price without any sellers fees.
Do you have any pictures?

You can also list it on…
the UPIL:

or the NPU:

I have to agree. You’re more likely to get your asking price here on the board, and it’s also more likely to go to a piper who will use them. You also avoid the E-Bay selling fee. If you do decide to go the Ebay route, contact me and I’ll help you set it up.

Otherwise, I would just post a message to the board with an accurate description and your asking price. Be sure to include an email where they can contact you..

Janice, has Britton been at the Rowsome chanter? Has it been in his workshop for reeding do you know?

Hi there Janice.

One peice of advice I might give is to email/private message me with a price and we could mebbe haggle.

I can’t afford much but was just on the edge of buying a chanter from Kennedy anyway and if your set’s not too reasonably far out of my price range we can talk. Or type. Or something. Juggle, perhaps.

Yours, more sleep deprived than I’d realized,

No, the chanter is Tim’s and Joe is re-reeding it for me right now so’s to be able to sell it…the drones are rowsomes.

Thanks for all of the great advice, guys. I appreciate the help.

Hey Janice how did you manage to talk your hubby into getting a new set of pipes then?

I have ordered my drone set, seems the ploy about balance and finger problems worked for me!!

Cheers,

Larry
