Selling my C#/D Bouebe

Sold, thanks.

Hey Rick, I’m really sorry to hear you’re giving up the box. I hope your mando playing is still unimpaired?

Hey Rob!

Thanks for the kind wishes, and I hope you’re doing well up there! Yeah, I’ve tried to find a workaround (playing with 3 fingers), but to no avail. Bites too, since I worked pretty hard at accordion and managed to become a halfway decent player.

But yeah, the mando playing is still fine, and my National is a Hoss, so that’s fun. I suppose I can now either continue my love/hate relationship with banjo or finally seriously pursue fiddle. I might be able to be an OK fiddler if I lived to be oh, say, 200 years old.

I do have a C#/D Double Ray I had retuned that can still be used for slower stuff if I need a clock-burner on a gig, but sadly, my days of ripping through reels on the auld boxeen are over. I also have a 12 string Strat which is a load of fun to play in DADGAD and sees occasional use in a gig, but that’s not exactly session fare. I did own a Rickenbacker 330-12 for a while also-- gorgeous sound, but it wouldn’t stay in tune worth a flip so it had to go. And the old Fylde 'zook is still with me, so I’m not out of the music business altogether, just gotta figure out where to go from here!
