I am planning to put two of my flutes on sale on ebay in the next day or so, depending on my laziness level.
One is a George Ormiston, #227, rudall style. The tuning slide is slightly sticky/slippery. Mr. Ormiston will fix it for free. I have been too lazy to get it to him.
The second is a Rosewood 8-key by Cary that I bought on Ebay also. It is a good player except for a slightly weak low d and slightly weak low e. (Both keys play very well in the higher register). I believe that it may be due to a pad that needs replacing or refitting. However, it seems to improve with playing, but there is no time to play with it at all right now.
Both flutes have been kept in a humidifier at ~ 70 percent humidity. If anyone has an interest in either flute, contact me off-board at ronbo@mindspring.com.
