selkie, the otter's holt?

Selkie, hi, I’ve been looking for a sound-file of this tune in the web, since I love playing airs, do you know where I could find it?
Thanks alot,
Amar.

The otter’s holt isn’t an air, is it? I’ve only heard it played quickly.

how embarassing, yes, I just did another search in the net, and came up with this: http://www.artistdirect.com/store/artist/album/0,,1034359,00.html
You may ask “what’s so embarassing about that?”
Well, I’ve got mcgolrick’s album “fused”…

Hi,

I believe The Otter’s Holt is a reel. It’s in one of the sets on The](http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/folk/acoustic_club/launch.shtml%22%3EThe) Virtual Session, so you could go there and play along. Like the version you have already have, this one also features Mike McGoldrick. I really like playing this tune.

By the way, also on the BBC site, there is currently an](http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/folk/features/f_flookintaug02.shtml%22%3Ean) interview with Flook

Keith

I got it from the book ‘The Irish Fiddle’ by Paul Mc Nevin Expensive book but lots of easy to learn whistle on tunes in it.

Poll an Madhra Uisce or the Otter’s lair [or Holt] is a reel composed by Junior Crehan
