Hey pipers, especially you Californians,
I am going to be in So. Cal. for a week beginning 3/18, and am debating whether to bring my pipes along. (I’ll be spending my days in Pasadena and my nights in Thousand Oaks.) I saw on uilleannobsession.com that there’s a session in Santa Monica that Sunday night – has anybody been to it? How big/fast/overpopulated by bodhran players is it? Are pipers generally welcome?
