There I was practicing with all my might when my tape player CHEWED UP my tape of “Timber” :roll: I guess I played it once too often.Does anyone who has now advanced beyond that stage please have a cd or tape they would be willing to sell to me? Otherwise I will only ever be able to play twelve tunes and my household will put me to death.

I’m sorry that I don’t have a copy of “Timber”. However, I do have a pirate copy of Raffi singing “Baby Beluga”. If there is anyone in your household under two years old, they might really like it. 
By the way, I have been wondering what kind of vehicle you are standing next to in your avatar photo? I hope you don’t drive that to work. Do you?

And yes! Bretton & Doug -that is indeed a Cadbury Creme Egg on wheels at Cadbury World, Birmingham England. Bretton, you must have been there pretty much when we were. Do you get Creme Eggs over where you are? If not send me a PM and I will send you one as you seem to like them. I like them too but I can’t eat them if I look inside - the colour is too much.

Julia, Raffi is a Canadian singer of children’s songs. A beluga is a white whale. “Baby Beluga” is one of his most famous songs, which, if there is any part of the kid left in anyone, you can’t help but love. I like to play it, and clap my hands with the enthusiasm of a child. I pull the venetian blinds first, however. I don’t want anybody to think that the old man on 18th street is at it again.
Sometimes I get tired of being an adult and thinking like an adult. I can still remember what my life was like when I was just a kid. Even then, I tried to make a violin out of a cigar box. My mother thought it was humorous.
Doug the Cigar Box Violin was clearly a premonition of your future as a designer of quality musical instruments crafted from common household materials 
What kind of wood do they make cigar boxes from anyway? Presumably a wood with perfect humidity - related qualities…
