I am a translator, although sometimes I think I would be able to translate better if I didn’t understand the language.

Yes, indeed it is. I loved to perform that song on my smallpipes the best, but it is also great for the uilleann pipes. It always gets a good reaction from the crowd, and with so many people who come to my performances regularly asking me to bring it back, I found I have to.
