You may have seen this, but I hadn’t…Potts is one of my favorite whistlers, and the interview is pretty good, including some thoughts on tonguing. Lots on piping too, but I’m putting it in here and the pipers can look after themselves.

The start isn’t promising ‘The Legendary Uilleann Piper Sean Potts’ : in his own words (during the SP tribute at last year’s WCSS) he ‘couldn’t make sense of the pipes’ so he played whistle and pretended they were the pipes.
I found him to be pretty self-deprecating about his lack of success on the pipes, and quite respectful of those who were better.
