I just read on the Univerity of Limerick webpage of Jimmy O’Brien-Moran that he was writing a book on SE, due for publication in 2003.

Anyone know more about this?

Jimmie was working in it with Pat Mitchell, he transcribed the airs for the book, Pat is working on the dance music and the analysis of the music and style. Due to health reasons and new material cropping up all the time the deadline for publication keeps moving up. It will get finished eventually.

It’s so great to hear that this book will be coming out eventually. Let me know by chance if it does come out on time, I’ll try to get a copy.

P.S. anyone know if Seamus ever played a Scots tune " Muckin O’Giordie’s Byre" ?
