What a great weekend! My weekend started when Lewis showed up on Friday evening with his new pipecase for the Beehive set. 
I can’t find the pictures you sent of that, so please post them if you can sir.
We went to dinner with a couple of the good Doctor’s friends and their wives/wives to be. Being a computer geek myself, it was interesting to hear three endocrinologists geekin’ out about hormones..fortunately, they held themselves in check with women and a ‘civilian’ in their midst else they would have had some serious glandular discussions. 
Saturday started hot and muggy with a final pool cleaning and neatening up around the homestead. Lewis and I had a quick lunch and then no sooner than we had started some piping, Ed H and Daniel from South Carolina showed up..followed by Rick and Matt from Tennessee. We missed the Florida, NC and Alabama folks…and of course I could’ve used a bit o’ help with more representation for Georgia.
We played tunes for a couple of hours and then had a snack, followed by several beers..or was it in the other order…I forget. Then more tunes followed by burgers and brats off the grill.
Many thanks to Ed for letting us try out the C# chanter…wow, what a sweet sounding rig. Also to Matt for letting me try out the regs on his Gallagher set (since it’s correctly configured for a lefty!)…first time I’ve gotten to try out a full set. It’s definitely harder than it looks!
Although we broke up a bit early as everyone had long drives home, we got in a good 6 hours of piping. Plenty o’ fun was had by all.
Lewis, thanks for the tunes on the Beehive set. Rick, you’re soundin’ good on that new half set! Daniel played some great tunes on his practice set, keep it up.

After the piping on Saturday, I fenced in a Foil tournament on Sunday and placed 5th out of 9..not as well as I wanted, but the guy who knocked me out of the competition had placed 1st in the Epee tournament (beating his coach), and finished 2nd in Foil (his coach finished 1st).
From there I showered and rushed over to the Roswell Session and played another hour or so of tunes.
I was ready to go back to work on Monday just so I could rest.
