About the spooks in this picture…
They are gargoyles sculpted by Walter S. Arnold, who also sculpted the gargoyles that adorn the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. He has a very interesting website that includes step-by-step pictures of a gargoyle being carved, and a “gargoyle store” where you can purchase miniature versions of many of his creations, including all of the the ones below.
