At the workshop I went to this weekend, there was a kid, probably 15, who carried this pretty wooden whistle in a sock. I asked him what it was and he said it was a Busman. It sure sounded sweet.
Hey Paul, get the kid a case ![]()

I will LOVE it when Paul makes cases available…(Hint, Hint, Paul…)
Best.

Failing that, isn’t there someone about who makes custom cases for whistles? I seem to remember reading that sometime back.

could always resort to making your own whistle case. buy a flute case and rip out the innards and custom fit some foam inside there, cover it with felt and voila.
Whistle Cases:
Shanna Quay sells nifty leather ones,
I believe serpent offers some but I’m not sure if they fit anything but his whistles.
The whistle shop sells some
As for hardword cases… have no clue, but that would be really cool
(by the way, i no like the new form, and i still cant figure out how to cast a vote on polls… bah!)
I would think for a wooden whistle you’d want something hard-sided, wouldn’t you? I’ve seen cases (I have a multi-whistle case, matter of fact), but they’re generally soft-sided, flexible, leather or canvas, which wouldn’t provide much protection.
Hmmm…I may ask my dad if he can make me one when I get my Busman. He’s good at that sort of thing. ![]()

Would you please all Reasonable Persons try and type relevant, descriptive, thread titles ?
I read this one, and nearly had a seizure. I mean, Sawing a Busman, really…
Though, if Wombat ever fancied a three-tone Busman, this would make sense ![]()
HA!
