As a response to a message on the “yellow board” I posted a line from The Committee poking fun at Nancy Sinatra’s “boots are made for walkin”
The Committee was an improv group here in L.A. in the 60s that did a lot of political satire as well as 5 miniute readings of Hamlet as done by Tom Joad in the Grapes of Wrath. I think they had a second troupe in San Francisco.
They were great and provided entertainment that was topical, almost “the Daily Show”, but live and up close.
Anyone else see them or have a similar experiennce??
