I heard a gorgeous tune on the radio, played on the pipes. It was called The Sands of Kuwait. Anyone know this tune? it sounded sort of Irish..but the title has thrown me.
This is a fairly new tune. It was composed during Desert Storm by one of the Pipers who was over there.
I have a recording of that tune on a cd by the “Fochabers Fiddlers” from up north in scotland. It id indeed a beautiful tune. I’ll try to write it out for you when I can find the time.
