Amazed to learn there were so many wannabe Irtrad musicians about town I tried to start a SPS at my place on Saturday/Sunday - very time flex and full of resources..copier/tunebooks/tutoring etc etc.
Anyway renewing my membership with the local Irsoc I included a wee add for their flier. Not long after I got a letter … nearly a letter … from the membership committee which I could not read, the writing so pretty but totaly unlanguage. Included in the envelope my membership renewal and the fees for the add.
Not only did they reject the add, but I am now in cutural nonpersons land. I suppose I oughta play the Blues and join some other society?
BTW I can make a great impression of a Bluesman on me Martin Guiteaaragh.
Wondering what the deal is here? Do Plastic Paddy clubs get a grant? a kickback from the local Obession den? Money from the City?
My next move is a half page ad in the local rag - every week on the day before. I guess that should ring a few bells.

I am looking for a webpage maker / keeper / records person who does not have to be Irish or play or anything, but it would be better if they lived somewhere in San Antonio.
