Been looking at this forum for a while but never posted anything so well hello to all!! and yep I ve got a Sam Murray flute that am putting up for sale on Ebay soon but thought someone may have the urgency to have one so pls email me if you do so. Its 8 years old (or thereabouts), 3 keys (C, G# and F) and its been played regularly, has a amazing tone and been loved to bits. (Sad to let such great flute go but am playin more minory tunes so am getting one with 6 keys)
I just bought a new keyed flute, dangit, but love my Murray keyless more than life itself.
Best flute on the planet!
That said, would you consider a 6-key Hamilton in trade …?
Oh my goodness… these sound samples are amazing. Great playing. And yes I comment on his playing even though there’s a heated discussion going on at the moment concerning posting sound samples.
These serve a purpose however, and I think most of you agree with me that these tunes are very well played. Love the sound of that flute … I really hold on to the thought that the player adds 90% to the sound, not the flute sigh Still.. wish I had enough money to buy it
Thanks for the complements!!..Hoed. . And Cathy thanks for the thought (i love Hammys flutes too) but am going for a M. Grinter as am living in Australia at present..
Like to post you a few pics of the Murray here but doesnt seem to let me do it..uhmm Should i disable Html? or…pls let me know…
