My name is Rose and I’ve carried a love for art and music all my life. Another thing I love is the Irish and their enchanting whistle music. So last week I purchased my first tin whistle! I am taking to it quite well and it has been a wonderful experience for me. I am playing by ear since I cannot read or write music. On a piano I can hear a tune and play it back for you after noodling around a bit. I am finding it is the same for me with my whistle and it is ever so much easier! I have already learned the mermaid song and am working on another, but as I have just started and am not doing really good ornamentals yet twill be a while before I have anything up on clips and snips lol.
