In other news, hell has frozen over…
I would have thought The Beatles reuniting more likely. Even now.
Dale
hmm…wonder if they will be showing up on a PBS Pledge night special.
Man, I saw this 60s one the other day that made me cringe. Some of the acts are still pretty good but some of the guys have not improved with age. Eric Burdon has…well..thickened up a bit and become kinda scary. For some unstated reason, several bands now had a frontman plus name, like “John Kay and Steppenwolf”, and “Rob Grill and the Grassroots”. Weird.
Mebbe it will be Roger Waters and Pink Floyd.
A great band, though. Saw em live a few times and they always delivered what was on the record onstage, which really surprised me.

Weeks - I think they do this to say “look, there is still at least ONE of us left of the original group”. As compared to other bands like Skynard (yeah, and I know the reason why none of them are the “original”).
I saw “Journey” two years ago WITHOUT Steve Perry, and they sucked. I’d rather go see a “tribute” band.
I am absolutely stunned…OMG!!! I haven’t felt this psychedelic since ‘Umma Gumma’ was released!!!
Whoa!! I’m getting a flashback…BIG DOGS BIG DOGS ARE LANDING ON MY FACE!!! WHOA!!! AIM FOR THEIR BOWLS OF ‘MIGHTY DOG’!!! … hey, I can catch my hand… ![]()
