I tried to stop them!
Don’t listen to Mack!!! He’s been in no way trying to push us out! In fact, I think we were just sold into slave labor as whistle-smith apprentices! Is seven years indentured servitude enough Mack?? ![]()
This has seriously been the best birthday/weekend/session playing/whistle making weekend I can ever remember!
Hats off to Mr. Mack Hoover! A true gem of a man among us mere mortals!!!
Bri~
P.S. He said I couldn’t go so far as to name him a God per se, so I settled for "Gem:. ![]()
Yep, and his wife makes good french toast, too!
Hey, guess what! I made a whistle! And it works! And as if that isn’t amazing enough, Brian made one, too, and IT works! This man’s a miracle worker.
And hey! So this is what those “sessions” are that you guys are always talking about! I thought whistle players just tried to play along with blue grass bands! Wow, I sort of like playing Irish music!
This has been great, and plans are already in the works for the second annual RMS…stay tuned.
Stay tuned, too, for some pictures of Brian, Mack, and I playing the new line of Hoover whistles…
