Aw, sad news.
I had the pleasure of jamming with Mike at a raucous party at the American Folklore Society meeting in 1976. A real scene, with Roger Abrams belting out dirty songs, and Guy Carawan singing “We Shall Overcome”. I’ll never forget it.
Another American original, gone.
Sad news indeed.
