I know I’ve been gone for quite some time, over a year actually, but I did want to mention that I posted two new reviews on the Pipersgrip site (link to site below in signature). One on a standard Alba low D and one on a chieftain V3 low F. I also added a small blurb about the brass version of the Burke viper low D to the original viper review. Here’s to hoping it won’t be another year till the next set of reviews!

Re the Vipers. I find the DLVP easier to handle, but prefer the DLBVP (brass) for its muted, mellow tone.
Maybe Mike’ll read this, become instantly inspired, and build a perfect hybrid. yep

I finally got my MK low d, so, my Low WhOA is (LoWhOA?) is finally satisfied.
But then again, when/if Mr. Sweet comes out with the new plastic low D that has been rumored, well I hope that gets fast-tracked at the Pipersgrip!
