Reed for A.P Jefferies Chanter

Hello all,

I bought a D chanter made by A.P Jefferies about 15 years ago and never played it, it did not come with a reed. I am now getting back into piping and would like to know if anyone has experience reeding this chanter. I have read mixed reviews on reeding this thing here on this board. If anyone can reed it or know someone who can, I would greatly appreciate the help.

if that is adrian jefrries formerely of australia now of belfast also known as jaff then i can help you.i have reeded several of his chanters and found them to be good.check with jaff and he will recommend me as a reedmaker for his pipes,you can contact me on my website should you wish,happy new year,allan.
