Recorder Decision: A Flowchart by Dale Wisely

Should I say - Indisputable?

Stinkin’ rec***ers!!!

C’mon, Dale. Don’t be such a wuss.

Just a little taste. It won’t hurt you. It’s only a li’l garklein. And just look at that beautiful grain.

:smiling_imp:

Garkleins are lethal weapons banned in Canada.

And here we are, my friend, plunked down in the U-S of A.

Live a little, already.

I can’t believe I’m reading this thread…

God damn the pusher-man.

Oh yeah! Oh yeah!

Gee thanks Walden. Now I have Angel Shake Egg Obsessive Acquisition Disorder.

Oh come on now. I can’t even contemplate a version of Early One Morning unless its done by a recorder chorus. Perhaps its the phallic shape that’s leaving a funny taste in your mouth (?).

You’re a moderator… DO SOMETHING!

You could defuse the situation for brewerpaul by substituting other instruments, or even suggesting aversion techniques to deter the acquisition of same. How about, for example, making a law that states that all shaky eggs must be treated with non-drying paint.

Dale…

:really:

That is SOOO cool – I always wondered how they did garkleins. So as you might expect they do the opposite of what they do with long recorders. Make the lower holes bigger and lower, the upper holes smaller and closer to the ramp. This is probably especially important, as the higher notes will be weaker.

As expected, looks very unnatural. Eldritch even. As you said, lovely grain. Olivewood maybe?

I will admit that “no” to panflute is even more essential than “no” to recorder.

…and by the way, if you are accusing me of plagiarizing, I’m both offended and guilty.

My wife and I bought a small tapestry to over the mantle recently…

Tapestry Close

Yes, sniff he appears to be playing an alto recorder.

I’m sorry, I’m so very, very sorry.
