Hi All,
I’m playing a hybrid 3/4 set: bag/bellows, drones/regs, chanter all from different makers. I’ve been dreaming/saving for a C or narrow bore D set for years, but I have to be realistic in that not happening soon. My hybrid concert D has never seen a pipemaker and needs some effort beyond my skill to recover its former condition.
I am as such wondering which pipemakers can be recommended as willing/able to take on reconditioning of hybrid sets.
Suggestions appreciated.
