I’m looking for a good online program for teaching whistle. There are very few programs in my area, so this is the next-best. What can you all recommend?
With best regards,

There are several. YouTube: Ryan Duns is one. OAIM is another. Skype lessons are a possibility for remote locations.
Nothing beats a lesson from a local player, whistle/flute/pipes. Festivals/workshops. There may be more local players around you than you think, explore a little.
Just to be clear, OAIM is the Online Academy of Irish Music. Great stuff. And there’s the ever-excellent Brother Steve site, too: http://www.rogermillington.com/siamsa/brosteve/
Or a not-so-local player. I was in a workshop with Kevin Crawford, preceding a house concert by Kevin and Cillian Vallely. The house concert was way out in the boonies, nowhere near any city of any size.
