I thought some of you out there might be interested in this.
The Musical Instrument Makers Forum is sponsoring an interactive
online Recorder building course. The course appears to cost $180
and requires basic lathe knowledge and tools. Some tool construction
will also be required.
Anyway, I know some people have asked here about creating
conical bores and other techniques (which apply to Flutes as well
as Recrdrs)… this looks like a chance to learn from a professional.
If only I had a lathe… and $180
