I am thinking of holding an intense, 2 day reed making class on a select weekend…Sat and Sunday eight hours each day for 4 students. Price would be $150.00 each.

How remiss of me…I am located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
I have not decided on dates or location. I will have to get a friend to loan me their living room so that we can mess it up good.

One of the little fringe benefits of reed making. 
I’m interested as well, but I would classify my knowledge of reeds as “novice level.” As for tools/supplies, I’ve got needle-nose pliers, sand paper, and a box cutter. Is this class more for those who roll their own staples and grow their own cane?

I’m quite interested, but know almost nothing about reedmaking, have no tools… etc… Would this class be open to utter newbies?

You know I’m interested.
My living room has good natural light and space-perfect for a small class ----the problem is we would need work area and I know Lauren wouldn’t be pleased if I used the kitchen table as a work bench.
But there’s the small studio outside. That might work.. be perfect in the fall..now…
We still have to figure out something for a work bench…but…it could be done.
I’d pay for that class, for sure.
