Yes, the immersion method is a good suggestion, but I was having trouble because my fingers keep returning to another version and I cannot seem to keep it straight in my head… so hard to unlearn-relearn… I was at the piano last night with earphones of Ennis recording, but couldn’t mark out the notes well enough…
Aaarrrrggg! Not the piany! Sit yerself down with slowdowner software and yer pipes and run through each phrase until you got it all down pat. Then work on the tune until you can get it up to speed, with all the ornaments etc. in place and in time.
(Piany, fer gawd’s sake … grumble grumble grumble)
