Now this is just in the off chance. I knew Rab as a countryside ranger when we were both much younger and he used to make harps and guitars. We were good mates but just lost contact over the years and try as I might to google him etc. (he’s not that kinda guy really) I just can’t trace him. His harps were superb and peope will still be playing them I am sure. He lived in Maidens south of Ayr on the west coast of Scotland. Anyone have one of his harps or heard of them? Oh the nights we had with a fire on and a few bevvies…I would dearly love to sit and get unco fu’ with him once more.
