Did anyone else see the Rudall, Rose & Carte flute on PBS’s Antiques Roadshow last night?

The guy who brought it in for appraising seemed to have this “Great. A freaking flute. Why couldn’t it have been a vintage sword or a gun or something?” expression. The philistine. :roll:
I saw that show last night… but I was curious about the appraiser’s comment that a replacement (copy) could be made… “For about $3,500, and therefore the value of this instrument is… $3,500”.
You mean to say that being 100+ years old is worth… nothing?
Hard to believe.
If memory serves me correctly, the serial number was 6260.
Yes, we talked about this show when it was first aired. I remember being excited to see a Rudall on the show.
