So clearly it’s not really making an evaluation; it’s just a randomiser set up as gambling, only the “rewards” are strictly intangible. A troll-job, and the narrow scope of choices given us might have been our first hint.
As a fluteplayer myself, I’m very curious as to how I get such a marvelously glowing report (even though I wasn’t awarded it); it’s as overestimated a self-evaluation as you could ask for whatever the instrument. Now if the triangle had been called the most desirable, that would have been more amusing by far.
