Question for anyone who has the KASE multi-whistle gig bag f

Does anyone know what the cords with the little metal fasteners inside the bag are for? Just curious…I can’t quite think of a use for them, even if the bag were being used for its original purpose (drum sticks).

This is really a nice bag…it may have been designed for drum sticks, but it works perfectly for whistles!

Bump bump. I’m really curious, and would welcome speculation, if no one knows what they’re for.

My guess is that since it’s a drumstick bag, those cords and hooks are for hanging the bag on the side of a drum (usually the floor tom in a drum set) for access to the sticks while playing… That’s the usual setup of a stick bag.

I haven’t seen the whistle bag, but I have a couple of stick bags. Indeed, the strings with hooks are for hanging on drums or trap stands or whatever is nearby. You could hang a whistle bag on a sturdy music stand if you wanted.

Thanks, guys. That makes sense. It was driving me crazy, as little details sometimes do

Redwolf

Oooooh, Redwolf I’m happy to know that too. Thanks so much for asking here and providing the answer!
