Putting a picture on your messages?

Hi There,

I have recently took some pictures of myself at our village sign.As we live in a village called TINTWISTLE, I thought it would be good to use one as my avtar.I have set my digital camera to its lowest pixel rating which gives me a picture size of 640x480 pixels. with a picture size of 300 pixels.How can I reduce this so I can use it on my profile and future posts.It says that a picture must not be more than 100 pixels Any help would be most gratefully recieved.

I use Adobe Photo Shop Elements 3.0. There is a “resize” function that allows you to set the picture size in pixels and inches. Then when you save it it gives you the option to set file size so you can get it under the file size limit also. You don’t have to set your camera for a lower resolution. I always set mine at maximum resolution.

Other photo processing software has similar functions.
