This is really early in the season for fires to be starting up. These fires were only a couple miles from my house!
I’m just glad they’ve gotten them under control. I use a bicycle to get around and riding through smoke and ash with winds pushing 30mph is NOT my idea of fun.
It’s hard for me to think of Florida and forest fires. It’s a good thing there is so much effort being made to restore the wetlands there, before the rest of the state becomes a desert.

The rain is here. In the Mid-Atlantic.
We’re prayin’ out here, too. Our fire season begins today. April and May have been very windy so far. It has really dried out the land quickly, plus we are short of rain for two years.
I feel for ya, we just came out of a 2 year drought and it was rough on the garden, now we have the best vegateble and flower garden we’ve had in years. We have had plenty of storms- weekly. Not good for them that got blown away.

Well over here in England the sun is shining for the first time in months.
Been some really warm and sunny weather here now for a week or so but it has been a very long dull and windy winter.
I have never known such a late warming up.
