The third set is the cheapest of the lot and yet the chanter had a wooden chanter top and keys.

The third set is of Pakistani manufacture.

This package, when new cast just under £1000.00, which proves that they ooze quality!
(from the first link)

Well there you have it. A practice set that oozes quality, as defined by the asking price.
“cast”? (cost). The spelling doesn’t ooze, just the set.

And note:

The chanter is hand made in Ireland and married up to the bellows and bag, by Moller.

Hand made… by whom?

Maybe he left it on the stove too long and it started to melt.

Joe - I think you’re right about the third set. The Cnat key sticks out at a familiar angle.

Yeah, Joseph is right, that is definitely a Pakistan set. The wooden top and bellows give it away.

I own a set exactly like this one, the chanter and plastic reed of which you can hear on Clips and Snips. It took me a good while to rebuild that silly reed to where it would play in tune.

I’d like to point out that this is the first time I’ve ever seen anyone admitting to owning a Pakistani set. I, for one, would like to thank Florida Joe for his honesty and courage  .
