Is this a new tutor, I’ve never heard of it before…

It’s Sean Og Potts actually not of the chieftains but son of formerly of the chieftains.

No, it’s far from new.

Oh, ok I copied and pasted that whole message from Song Sea website… Those not my words laddie

You didn’t mention the name of the tutor you were referring to. It is called Mad4Trad - Uilleann Pipes Tutorial on CD ROM. Sean Potts Junior does that. I have heard many times that he is a big fan of Robbie Hannan, but it doesn’t show on this CDROM. It is available at several places on the web, e.g. OssianUSA.com.

Like many UP tutors, it totally ignores the complete beginner, and just starts in with teaching tunes with the assumption that you have already sorted your set, know how it works, have the bag & bellows thing happening, can play scales, etc.

Mad4Trad Ok  , I’ll email Song of the Sea and tell them to change their listing thanks… I ordered one to add to my growing collection of Uilleann piping books, tutors , etc
